Avco is pleased to have been the development partner with Unthinkable in the delivery of the RPBW website, responsible for the development of the front-end and the design and implementation of the backend content management system. The front-end was delivered working closely with designer Anna Dean.

The editorial system allows RPBW editors to shape the story of the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, showcase completed and ongoing projects, and highlight key practice architects. There are intuitive mechanisms for visually arranging, reusing and curating content on the homepage.

Editors are able to effortlessly change and update the content to reflect the current communications focus and to keep the site feeling fresh and active. The interface is very easy to use, ensuring the homepage can change frequently. Updates are immediately reflected on a preview version of the website, so editors are in full control of the visual layout and copy. Internal workflows can incorporate review and signoff by other team members prior to publishing live.

We believe that our clients should become the editorial team to manage their narrative and evolve their brand continuously.

Many content elements are atomic and can be repurposed on different pages or saved for a later date. The menu is responsive to its context on the homepage hero and on all pages it will disappear on scrolling down the page but reappear when scrolling up, so that the navigation is always at hand.

The website uses widely adopted, modern technologies and services, ensuring that it is fast and efficient for visitors in all territories.
